When Harry met Conan in Denver

In the spring of 1923, Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle met by coincidence in Denver, Colorado.

They were one-time friends turned antagonists over the issue of spiritualism and contacting the dead. The two men and their wives seemed friendly as they met in Denver, but the animosity remained. My history column from The Daily Sentinel is linked below.
